Karen Stimson/Wool Sweater Street--Jeweled Ornament Action

This jeweled velvet egg ornament was inspired by a set I have in my Christmas decorations. It dates back to my childhood, when my grandfather would take me each year to the local nursery, which at Christmas time had boxes upon boxes of the most glorious ornaments a child could ever dream of on display. To my sheer delight he let me pick one new set each year for our tree. The velvet eggs, I recall, date from the 1960's, and I've made my preview samples in '60's colors as a tribute to this wonderful memory. I hope you will enjoy these little charmers as much as I did their physical counterparts, and still do. The action will create a velvet-covered egg in your choice of color (except pure white or black) and let you choose from 12 gemstones to adorn it. The glittery trims can be made in either gold or silver, and the gemstones come in two sets, one with gold findings and one with silver. You can add a ribbon tie to your ornament, too, colored as you like. The ornament measures approximately 1.5 inches wide and 3 inches high. The action is tested to work in Photoshop CS2 and up, will not work in earlier versions. It's optimized for 300 resolution. Outer drop shadows shown in preview are not included. This action can be used in International versions of Photoshop.
