Hi folks,
I'm sorry I haven't been around lately but as you know my Mother hasn't been well from her fall & needing care now & then around the home & we usually go out 2 or 3times a week to therapy treatments...
Well last Thursday 10th she didn't feel well in the throat after coughing as she'd been coughing up mucus during the week & was able to get it up - well it happened again as 2 years ago :( I took her up to Glenorie Medical Centre & they took tests etc... but said she should have further checks as they didn't like her erratic heart beat after she'd been coughing so I then took her via McDonald's for an early lunch as we had left home quickly without breakfast & feeling a bit low :sickie: So off the hospital we went & she ended up being admitted to check everything out
So I stayed with friend at Beecroft & then the next day drove home again to get clothes etc that we'd left without... a very HOT day After collecting my things & going via Castle Hill shops to collect extra things she needed I ended up back at the hospital to visit her late in the afternoon & our friend met met me there & paid her a visit I stayed until visiting time was up & then drove over to Beecroft.
The next day being Saturday, my friend & I went to a Bible Reading & then off to Carlingford Shops for a few groceries, then back to Beecroft for lunch & then off Castle Hill shops again & then back to see Mother until late again... that morning she hadn't been well again... so she enjoyed our visit... that night my B.P. shot up high & I went to the toilet numerous times (later learning it was a Liver/Stress attack
The next day being Sunday & usually going to church etc... our friend drove me over to be with Mother for the day as I was so tired after not getting much sleep at all & my B.P. still playing up I slept in a chair next to her bed... had lunch & slept again... Then we had a thunderstorm after the HOT weather & our friend picked me up again late & drove back to Beecroft. That evening I slept from about 10pm until 9am the next morning only getting up once during the night - thanks to many prayers
The next day, Monday my friend drove me back over to the hospital to pick up Mother as she was coming out
We went via the Dr's for me & I've got to go back on Thursday 17th for another check up :eek: We picked up SUBWAY for lunch & it was delicious & packed up our car with all the things I'd brought from home & we headed back to Castle Hill first to pick up a couple of things (including a HOT BAKED STUFFED POTATO for dinner when we got home ;) ) A few minutes after we arrived home our cat, "Socks" turned up - very happy to see us back home again That evening we both slept from about 10pm until 9am the next morning (today) - today I've been trying to catch up on a few things.... getting lunch & nearly about to close to get dinner.... so it's been hetic & I must admit I feel better today & I'm so thankful for that

I forgot to update it.. Mother only spent 1 wk in hospital... she is still coping with a cough...

We'd appreciate your prayers & thoughts for us as we continue resting as my BP has been up & down...

Stress can do that to you! Hot bath, dim the lights, light some candles and play your favorite music...try not to fall asleep until you get out though...lol That ought to bring the BP down.
