(Saturday 10th) was a better day a friend came over & stayed with Mother while I went out to the shops 40mins away - picked up groceries & a much needed back massage!

Update ~

We have a nurse coming from our Local Council ~ The Hills Community Health Centre ~ 2 or 3 times a week to bath her. So that is some relief as well!

Plus through this centre we have an electric bed now as of 6pm last night so that is a much needed relief from bending over to the low lounge that she was laying on from Sunday 4th until Tues 13th & it was just too low!

So we wish to thank you all for continuing your prayers, comments, hugs & wishes as we need it each & every day!

Please continue to pray that she gets relief from her constant pain/aches in her knee PLUS that I may get relief now from my back & shoulders from aching!

Update

No my friend couldn't make it today Sunday 18th because of church commitments so I left Mother alone for the day & the neighbours were home & cousins visited during the day & brought some edibles for us

Thanks so much ladies for your thoughts, prayers & cares very much appreciated!

She has a lot of pain in her leg & doesn't get much sleep - pray that she gets the needed rest to mend.

I'm exhausted it was a big day yesterday going out & getting everything that we needed plus extra's before the nurses would come tomorrow Tuesday 20th! Plus today we have the builder doing a ramp outside so we can have wheelchair excess & our NEW washing machine is coming today courtesy of another friend as our old one that we've had for approx 30 yrs wouldn't spin out the water fully so I was wringing out the washing by hand & nearly a load everyday with soiled sheets etc... So I am run off my feet today :(

Keep praying from some relief please...

NEW UPDATE

My Mother is still in a wheelchair & her FULL Leg brace is still on until Feb 1st

She is having hydrotherapy starting next week & I am able to go in as her carer & that will mean that I will get some relief to my lower back injury that's playing up with all this extra work & care!

Please continue to pray that Mother & I will get relief from our pain & suffering plus Mother has to start to learn to bend her knee & that's going to be very painful for her

Thanks again ladies for your prayers - very much appreciated

The pool for hydrotherapy wasn't warm enough but the SPA afterwards was great! But that evening Mother's leg went into spasms & when she went for more Acure Point Massage (Acupressure) that said, "No, pool not warm enough" so we are hunting now for a warmer one

It the ligaments now that have been stretched all this time & not bending seem to say "NO, don't MOVE me!" very painful to get those muscles & ligaments working again... plus No more electric bed from next month they want it back :doh: Mother can't get to her bedroom yet or the bathroom so we going to have another battle on our hands when that bed goes - please continue to pray for strength & HELP if we can find it!

It still the ligaments now that have been stretched all this time (actually one main ligament was broken when her leg was fractured!) & not bending seem to say "NO, don't MOVE me!" very painful to get those muscles & ligaments working again... please continue to pray for strength!
Plus we've found a lovely warm pool & we are both doing the exercises :) 2 or 3 times a week so that's why I'm not around much :(
