Wednesday Words 4/08

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009 | Uncategorized

This is Easter week and I bet some of you are still scrambling to get those Easter outfits ready for the kids. I remember those days of new clothes, new shoes and the like. As a kid it was totally awesome to get to have a new dress when it happened. We did not always get a new dress or shoes, but some Easters we did.

I hope you all get lots of photos of your children at Easter and the Easter egg hunts. For me the most memorable Easter with my daughters was when we rode in my brother-in-law’s new car to the Easter Egg hunt and my youngest daughter threw up on the way. Yep, fancy car and throw up really don’t go good together. But, he was a saint. He was not at all concerned about the car, but was worried about my daughter.

Anyway, the words I want to lay on you all this Wednesday are about Easter and would make a great word art for someone to make for us.

Awake, thou wintry earth -

Fling off thy sadness!

Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth

Your ancient gladness!

~Thomas Blackburn, “An Easter Hymn”

I can just picture this layout with flowers and a glorious sunrise. Who is going to make it for me?

An outstanding share! I have just forwarded this onto a coworker who had been conducting a little homework on this.
And he in fact bought me dinner simply because I discovered it for him.
.. lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!
! But yeah, thanx for spending time to talk about this matter here on your site.
