Saturday Night Express Passengers (12/27)

Good morning everyone, Something I’m going to start doing on Sunday mornings is showing off the beautiful layouts from the previous night’s Saturday Night Express speed scrap. What is the Saturday Night Express, you ask? Oh it’s lots and lots of fun! It starts at 8pm Eastern every Saturday night. Every 10 minutes I give a new instruction for you to follow in creating your layout. At 9pm I give the last instruction for the page and then you have one hour to get your layout finished up and posted to the gallery. The instructions are given in the chat room where we’re all hanging out and having a great time chatting with each other about scrappin’ and kids and who knows what all. The instructions are also posted to the relevant thread in this subforum. You really should consider joining us next week… we have a wonderful time! So the instructions last night were as follows: 8:00 - Find photos that have something to do with the future. Could be your kids and you could talk about what you want for their future. Could be something you hope changes in the coming year. 8:10 - Because we’re in the 3d millinium choose 3 papers to use in your LO 8:20 - Because the future is the center of today’s layout, center your picture on your layout 8:30 - Use this quote as a title or journaling or somewhere on your layout. “As for the future, your task is not to foresee it, but to enable it.” - Antoine de Saint-Exupery 8:40 - Because there are 12 months in a year, use 12 similar embellishments peeking out from behind your picture. Could be flowers or swirls or whatever you like but 12 similar ones 8:50 - Because we’re entering 2009, use 9 embellishments different from what you’ve already used 9:00 - In order to create a great future, we must remember the past. Date your layout and get it posted in the gallery And here are the beautiful layouts that everyone came up with. The layouts are linked to the gallery image so you can click on them to go see the larger gallery image and leave some love for the scrapper in our gallery.
