2 days left for PsiPsi Designs store wide sale at 40% off - ends January 6.

Check out this gorgeous baby kit for the little Master or little Miss. Created by the talented Sue Wood. Did you know she writes for Scrapstreet.com magazine? I am constantly amazed at the wealth of talent our ladies have.

Here’s a wonderful kit called ‘My True Love’ by our lovely Gail Cook. I can see this is one of those ‘fit-all-occasions’ set, well worth having as an essential basic.

On a really sad note, one of our ladies Missy of MD Designs has passed on after an illness. Our love and prayers for her and her family continue. She wasn’t with us for long but was a cherished member of our scrapfamily. Farewell darling.

Only 4 more days until Christmas…I sure hope you have all your shopping done, or at least close to it!

Did you know that today is National Children’s Memorial Day? For more information on this day of the year visit this cool web site I found about it. What a wonderful way to remember a lost child.

One of our designers here at DSS, Missie, is struggling with her life right now. She has brain cancer and the doctors just told her family they can do no more for her. Her family is now spending time caring for her. It is a very sad situation.

We decided at DSS to do a kit in honor of Missie and all of our loved ones who have died. The kit is called “I Will Always Love You.” If you are a designer and would like to contribute to this kit here are the particulars in this pdf file. Please read it throughly. The deadline is January 1, 2009.  All proceeds will go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Onto today’s Advent Calendar…we are almost half way through the month already! Christmas will be here in 11 days! Wow! Hope you have your shopping almost done!

Today’s ornament is a really pretty jingle bell all decorated for us by Gail Cook. Isn’t is beautiful?

We made it a whole week and you should now have seven ornaments to play with! Only 24 more days to go, LOL!! Remember all ornaments will be available until January 15, 2009.

Day seven’s original ornament is from Faith of Trifaith Designs and features a cute little cross stitch train on a cross stitch frame with the fabric still sticking out the sides.  I don’t know how you gals come up with all these original designs, but we sure are loving it!
